This ancient mosque will be seen in Chuadanga district town. This mosque is located near Alamdanga bus stand in Chuadanga district town. Locally, this mosque is known as Bara Mosque. This mosque is estimated to be built in 1786 AD.
This mosque is a religious building built of rectangular and it has three domes. Only one Mehrab of the western wall is seen in the mosque. There are 4 towers in the four corners of the four walls of the mosque. Small domes are found on each of them. This mosque is estimated to be built in 1786 AD. However, it was later reformed in 2014. Although reformed, the original structure of the ancient mosque still exists.
It is known that Kusum Bibi, the maulik dynasty of this city, built this mosque. A grave can be found in the entrance of the mosque. It is buried by Kusum Bibi.
By rickshaw or auto rickshaw, you can easily get here from anywhere in Chuadanga City. The place is known as the Academy mor (city's academy twist).
